Today is the official beginning of the semester. So far I have only one class schedule. I was told not to worry, just relax and the other three (history) will be posted eventually. HHmmmm. So here I am "relaxing" and writing on the blog.
Here are the pictures from Karum Park. The walk up to the canopy was quite a climb. It was up, up, up on a trail with lots of roots to maneuver. Near the end of the "up" trail we were out of breath, pulse racing, and legs aching. LOL
Then the first sight of the actual canopy. It was beautiful; but scary. I didn't want Sam to cross it; but he did. While on the canopy it started to rain and that added to my distress. The planks were wet and slippery and one set actually slanted. OMG..... Don't forget that this is 130 feet above ground. :-(((
The walk down the path was muddy and slippery.
I took a few videos and pictures while trying to hold on. Here are the pictures and I will post the video later.
Enjoy!
Atounding pictures you were abel to capture! And Hats off to Sam in his Harley shirt and bandana!!! He made it across the seven suspended bridges even after you told him NO! Wow! how exciting for you both. I totally loved this experience, can not wait to take me daughters when our entire family returns.
