Hi,
I am back. We had dinner tonight with the other ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) students. Next to me was a young lady who had a "bucket list" when she was seven. Hhhmmm.(I just started mine last year. :-((() She accomplished one recently: sky diving. Another young lady arrived today from spending two weeks in east Africa, Kenya and Tanzania and she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. Another "bro" is from St Louis. Of course I am the "mature" student; but that's ok. I am looking forward to meeting each of my fellow ISEP student one on one and picking their brains. LOL They will soon find out that I am just like them in this madness.
Here comes the pictures you have been waiting for. The first are pictures of our departure. I celebrated my 62nd birthday on board Delta 134 from Atlanta to Accra, Ghana, Africa. Even had ice cream and cake. My camera has a fast shutter speed so sometimes you will see three pictures that look alike. I would edit them; but that would take too much time and I want you all to see as much of what we are seeing as you can. Yes, I love clouds, just skip over them if the anoy you. LOL
Today we will have orientation and visit the areas that Sam and I traveled yesterday so you may see some of the same pictures later that you see today. I won't take time to edit anything, so just skip over what you don't want to see and enjoy the rest.
The trip to James Town to the "sea" was awesome! Can you believe all the boats??? And they are wooden!! They were actually making some as we walked by!
I am continuously amazed at what Sam and I get the chance to experience and so grateful to Delta for giving us the opportunity to travel as we do, even though we both worked hard to get here.
Stay safe, enjoy and more later.
Hey Sam and Cynthia,
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping us updated and for sharing the fascinating pictures! We miss you here but are so glad for this wonderful opportunity for you.
Love and prayers,
Steve
