Hello everyone,
Sorry for my absence. I was sorting out classes. I went to class on Monday and the professor no showed. My Tuesday class, Archaeology, happened and it went well. The professor, Dr. Gauva, will allow me to record his lectures which will be a great help. I was able to listen to it again at home and rewrite my notes. It was a very informative lecture. I even answered a question. LOL

Wednesday's class was another no show. We were all dressed up with nowhere to go. :-((( It seems the first week of classes is not really the first week of classes, the second week is. Hhmmmmm. I did not bother to go to today's class. It didn't make sense to get dressed, take a taxi to campus, sit for half an hour and take a taxi home.

On the way home I had the taxi to drop me off on the main road and I stopped at the little market bought some things and walked home. The ladies in the store were perplexed that I was walking with my purchases. As I walked pass the ackee tree on the way home I saw that some had opened up. (You have to wait for them to open before you can eat them as they are poisonous otherwise.) I asked a man on our street if he could get a boy to climb the tree and he did. Sooo I had ackee for dinner! Ghanaians do not eat ackee or breadfruit. Daahhh.. I am on the lookout for breadfruit. They told me that they use them for footballs. Footballs????? They are sssoooo good roasted and stuffed with salt fish. Yumm!

I am working on more pictures for you. The ones to and from Cape Coast.
Stay tuned!!

Love you guys!!
